Excess Baggage the Musical

More than 60 Singaporean and Malaysian students from various universities around London have gathered together for a charitable cause. The brainchild of a diverse team led by Kelvin Goh and Gerard Chen, Excess Baggage the Musical tells the story of the trials and tribulations of three overseas students as they embark upon their second-year of college life in London . The Musical is an inspiring and heart-rending tale staged in aid of the Singapore Children's Cancer Foundation.

The Musical will be staged on the 18th and 19th of January 2007 at Greenwood Theatre, King's College, Guy's Campus at London Bridge. Boasting a 100% original script, lyrics and musical scores, with more than 24 different songs performed live by a 12-piece band and 14 talented vocalists, Excess Baggage the Musical promises to be a fascinating and captivating visual and aural spectacle. The production team aims to host an audience of 400 for each show night and the Musical is set to be one of the largest and most ambitious stage performances ever achieved in London by a combined university student community.
