The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht

Synopsis

It's time to get down and dirty as you enter the debauched world of beggars, thieves and whores. There is no honour or morality among the seedy colourful characters of this classic masterpiece, as their fluid and changeable relationships lead to betrayals. The beggar boss Peachum and his wife plot the downfall of the notorious womaniser Macheath who seduced their daughter - but is the revenge as sweet as they hoped? This revolutionary piece of hard-edged, gritty musical theatre features one of the most popular songs of the twentieth century - Mack the Knife.
